2. Collection and storage of personal data

When you visit our website, general information is automatically collected (e.g. browser type, operating system, date and time of access, IP address). This information is technically necessary to deliver our website correctly and is unavoidable when using the internet.

3. Contact

If you contact us by form or email, your information will be stored to process your request and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses technically necessary cookies as well as, where applicable, cookies for reach measurement. You can restrict or disable the use of cookies in your browser settings. Cookies already set can be deleted at any time. For non-essential cookies and tracking technologies (in particular marketing, analytics, Klaviyo) we obtain your consent via our consent banner where legally required (e.g. in the EU/EEA).

5. Online shop (Shopify)

Our online shop is operated on the Shopify platform (Shopify International Limited, 2nd Floor, Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland; parent company: Shopify Inc., Canada). When you place an order, Shopify processes the data required to fulfil the contract (name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, order data, IP address, device and browser information). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract) and Art. 31(2)(a) Swiss FADP. Shopify may process data in countries outside Switzerland/the EU (in particular Canada and the USA); appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses, EU–US Data Privacy Framework) are in place. More information: shopify.com/legal/privacy.

6. Payment providers

To process payments we use external payment service providers (e.g. Shopify Payments / Stripe, PayPal, credit card, TWINT, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay – depending on the chosen payment method). When you select a payment method, the data required for it (in particular name, address, payment data, order amount, IP address) is transferred to and processed by the respective provider. Payment providers act as independent controllers under the GDPR; their privacy policies apply additionally. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (fraud prevention).

7. Print-on-Demand & shipping

Our products are produced individually for you on a print-on-demand basis after your order is placed. For this purpose we transfer the data required for production and shipping (name, shipping address, order details, email for shipping notifications) to our fulfilment partner (e.g. Printful, Inc., 11025 Westlake Drive, Charlotte, NC 28273, USA) and to the respective shipping carriers (e.g. Swiss Post, DHL, DPD, GLS). Transfers to third countries (in particular USA, Latvia, Mexico) may occur; appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

8. Newsletter & email marketing (Klaviyo)

For sending our newsletter and transactional emails as well as analysing open and click rates we use Klaviyo, Inc., 125 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02111, USA. When you subscribe, we process your email address, optionally your first/last name, and technical data (IP address, time of subscription, device and browser information, interaction data with our emails and website). Subscription uses a double opt-in procedure. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting us. Klaviyo processes data in the USA; appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses, EU–US Data Privacy Framework) are in place. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in customer communication for existing customer relationships). Our backend database is operated via Supabase with a server location within the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). The shop itself is operated by Shopify (servers in Canada, USA, EU among others; see section 5). Data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR) are in place with all processors; for transfers to third countries, EU Standard Contractual Clauses or certifications under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework apply.

10. Disclosure to third parties

Your data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract, there is a legal obligation or you have given your express consent.

11. Your rights

Data subjects in the EU/EEA additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please contact us at the address above.
